The Shocking Truth About Why You Don’t Like Healthy Foods.

The reason why people do not like or eat some of the healthy foods is…well,  it has nothing to do with taste or your taste buds. It is all psychological. It is very simple, I encourage you to start orienting yourself to eat healthy foods you dont usually like and stay very positively emotional, constantly look for the benefits from them when you eat those foods. Just test it for 3 weeks each day eating a certain type of veggie that you dont usually like.

Ask yourself: do i constantly try to like healthy foods? When someone hands/serves me healthy food, do i smile and take it with open arms or I make faces internally and say: Oh boy, I wish I had some chocolate now, I dont like those eggs, avocado, broccoli, asparagus.

Make sure you fill yourself with positive emotions while you are eating it. The more reasons you can come up for why this veggie is so healthy, delicious and awesome the sooner you will transform your taste for it.

If you are really serious about your health which you should be, I would even recommend you going to a higher level and write down all the reasons why and benefits you would receive from eating the veggie you chose and read them every day.

I know it sounds almost crazy and silly but stay with me here and be as open as possible about it and this is when you would see some positive changes

You have to change the way you thinkfeel, and talk to yourself in a positive way with benefits about healthy food and you will see how soon you will like them.

Simply put you need to change the way you have programmed your brain (as much as some of you will not like this expression), or your attitude toward healthy food.

This is not a theory. It is science and it works but it won’t work if you put it to the test.

The New Fast Food. Super Healthy And 7 Times Faster Than Burger King

Here is one of the meals I prepare on My Way Back To Wellness mission (almost completed).

It takes me about 5 minutes to put it together but there is some previous work done to it. I grilled the sausage and the chicken breast and the veggies were already cut up in small zip lock bags ready to be served.

If you are a very busy person make sure you cook and prepare food for several days in advance. You dont want to get overwhelmed with cooking every few hours because I would like to to eat a minimum of 4-6 times depending on your goal.

Chicken – 2 ounces – protein 48kcal

Sausage - 3 ounces – protein 48kcal – carb 8kcal – fat 135kcal

Mozzarella Cheese – 1 ounce – protein 28kcal – carb 4kcal – fat 40kcal

South Elgin Personal Trainer Goes Food Shopping For Fat Loss (90 Days Back To Wellness)

In a previous post I had taken couple of photos of how I plan and prepare in advance for daily nutrition consumption for the second phase of my mission “90 Days Back To Wellness” but this time I want to take you through the whole process in an actual video.

So I went to one of my favorite stores in South Elgin and Saint Charles area “Caputo’s”. The produce products in it are very inexpensive and fresh all the time which is one of the main reasons I love it. Then I went back home and grilled all the meat, boiled many of the eggs, and bagged all the vegetables. Now I am all ready to be eating at the exact time for my diet, with the right amount for my fat loss and body transformation goal, with the right quality.

I shot a small less than a minute footage of the stops I made in each of the departments in it so I somewhat take you through the process and did not keep the segments long.

How long do you think it took me to go to the store, buy the food, go back home, cook it, grilled, bag it and clean it?…………………2hrs and 10 minutes. That’s right, if an amateur shopper and an average cook can prepare for the WHOLE week with food in about 2hrs, I believe you can do it too. No excuses, just do it.

If you find it valuable or if you apply it and see some success with it or even if you think someone you know can benefit from it you can comment below and share it with them.

Part2

My Nutrition Preparation For The Whole Week In Less Than 3 Hours

Here is the real beginning of the second phase of my mission “90 Days Hristo Going Back To Wellness”

I went to the grocery store to purchase all the required items and products to go through the whole week without needing to eat out and consume something that is not congruent with my nutrition plan. I know that if I dont plan and prepare in advance I will end up eating something that will not serve me with my goals and mission.

It took me only 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete the shopping part and if that was an experienced shopper it would have been done for a lot less time.

I bought about 7-8 different varieties of vegetables for about 6 servings a day and bagged them in small zip-lock  bags so they will be very accessible every time I eat. 1 serving would be 1 cup of veggies.

I also bought different types of meat (steak, pork and chicken) so I will be getting different types of proteins. I cooked the meat so it will be ready for the whole week also and I cut it in portions so they will be readily available too.

I did the same with the eggs. I soft boiled them, peeled the shell and put them in a container so when I am very busy and ready for a breakfast or any time eating they will be ready for eating in seconds.

The shopping, begging, and cooking took me about 3 hours. So now I dont have to cook at all for the rest of the week. Now it literally takes me 5 minutes to prepare a meal that is delicious, nutritious and congruent with my nutrition plan. I did not eat anything that is not on those photos.

Here is couple of photos for you to see since on the one I forgot to put some items like the eggs

If you have any suggestions or/and comments to improve, make it more efficient and faster way of doing it or just want to comment please leave it below

Aurora IL Nutrition Coach Prescribes Exotic Foods You Should Eat (But Probably Aren’t)

I know a lot of you are interested in weight loss, and I’ll continue to cover that often in my posts. But there’s more to know about Premium Nutritional Fuel! Those of you who have my Nutrition Bible, remember #9 on my list of 10 Top Habits?

9. Eat as wide a variety of foods as possible

So let’s expand your grocery list. Let me introduce you to three super healthy foods that have some surprising nutritional benefits…

Guava – A fantastic source of vitamin C, potassium, lycopene (powerful anti-oxidant) AND fiber! No wonder people in the tropics look so healthy! This fruit trumps oranges, bananas, tomatoes and more.

Cinnamon – Can spices be healthy? Absolutely! Cinnamon can reduce the risk of heart disease because it metabolizes sugar fast, keeping your blood sugar level under control. Try sprinkling some on your yogurt for a tasty one-two nutrition punch.

Pomegranate juice – Why is pomegranate all the rage? For one thing, it contains plenty of Vitamin C and can increase blood flow. Look for 100% Pomegranate juice so you’re not loading up on sugar.

Expand your nutritional horizons. Try one of these TODAY.

South Elgin Nutrition and Fitness Instructor Lets These 3 Rules for a Healthy Diet Slip

If you want lifelong health and fitness, a healthy diet is KEY. So here’s 3 quick & easy rules for staying on the wagon and staying healthy…

#1. Eat Six Times a Day (Or More) – It’s a myth that you shouldn’t snack between meals. The fact is snacking keeps your energy levels high and prevents you from over eating at main meals. Eating more often and foods like lean protein, vegetables will speed up your metabolism by digesting it for prolong period of time. Therefore fat will start dropping and preserving muscle tone.

#2. Eat Like Clockwork – Try and eat at the same time every day so your body gets into a routine, and works with you towards health & fitness. It is the same when you go to work at the same time and go home at the same time every day. You force the body to create a habit. Now,  if you have plateaued there are more advanced tactics but this is for another time. Just start with the basics now.

#3. Build Out a Meal Plan – With a meal plan you know what to eat and when so you can stock up at the grocery store and never be left short at dinner. This means no excuses for fast food. Also once the meal is built you will not starve and the planning and preparation you have done in advance will keep you losing fat, preserving the muscle, and performing at a higher level.

And there you have it. Maintaining a healthy nutrition plan is not as difficult as many people make it!
