Local Community In Geneva Illinois Get In A Top Fitness Shape With South Elgin Personal Trainer

Here is a short video exercise footage I filmed of a local family from Geneva Illinois that got on the journey to Unleashed Wellness.

It never stops to amaze me how simple the blueprint to success in wellness is and many people suffer unnecessarily.

After many years of being a personal fitness trainer and boot camp coach I have been seeing a pattern which people are following and now I know who will be successful and who will fall back to the same ole habits.

I have personal training or boot camp clients that always ask me questions about fitness, health, how to lose fat and tone muscles more efficiently, always follow up on what I coach them, and yet others never even make the effort, be interested and ask me how I can help them improve their fitness and health goals, and they pay for it. Hard to believe but it is true

You already have an idea who will succeed in those 2 scenarios. It is always the people that are curious, interested and communicate with me about their success that go far.

Without further ado lets dive into the video and see how this family took quick action, started exercising together just like a family, encourage each other and saw quick results.

Bradly is a brand new fitness enthusiast with lifting weights and in his second week I have noticed a dramatic increase in his strength and posture for soccer, oh and he lost 6 pounds of fat. His sister Haley is no different, I can tell how she enjoys it and improved posture along with strength. She had I think about 4 or 5 pounds of weight loss as well in her second week.

And their mom Ramona on some days she even trains twice and she always looks great but I think this time she will do much better because of the built in social support and she sees how the little ones are improving so fast.

Check it out and if you enjoyed it comment in the comment section and let me know what you think.

Are Mistakes Slowing Down Your Fitness Program?

What if you’re making exercise mistakes – without knowing it – that are slowing your results? If you’re like most people, chances are good that you are…and burning up precious time instead of fat burning and getting in shape.

Who’s Too Old For Fitness Training?

I want to introduce you to one of my all-time favorite meaningful truths. It’s stunning in its simplicity.

Life = Movement

This applies to your physical body at every level: muscles, organs, cells, brain activity, and so on. It applies to the cycles of nature, and to ever-changing galaxies “far, far away.”

Movement is essential to life. If you’re a senior (or know one) who wants to exercise and improve their strength, mobility, flexibility and every day function, but is held back by fear of injury, then read on.

Often, seniors think it’s safer to stick to a quiet sedentary lifestyle than exercise. But research shows that exercising – even moderately – not only improves your health, but can also slow the aging process and improve quality of life.

Here are a few tips for safe fitness training (at any age) and getting the benefit of movement in your life:

Smooth out your form – Make sure your movement is flowing and fluid. Avoid jerking motions, and working out at top speed (at least at the beginning).

Get a workout partner – This is really something everyone should do, but especially when you’re a little older have someone watch out for you that understands proper supervision, just in case.

Tune in to your body – Being a little sore and tired after a workout is expected, and a normal part of gaining strength. Acute pain and exhaustion is not.

Consult with your physician – Have your qualified doc advise on the best kind of exercises for you. Your physician should be able to send you to a personal trainer or health club that will look after your best interests, not theirs.

Use protective equipment – A helmet and pads if you’re going cycling, or joint support if you’re running… whatever you’re doing, make it as safe as possible.

A little common sense goes a long way here. Don’t push yourself until your body tells you where your limits are. Follow these tips and you can enjoy the benefits of exercise into your 80′s, 90′s and beyond.
